Earlier in the year, it was revealed that numerous idol stars were taking part in the filming of a new idol themed movie, "Mr. Idol." Today, the producers of the movie announced that after three months, the cast and production team finally finished filming.
The plot of the story consists of two music producers who come together to form a "nationally loved idol group" from a group of troublemakers. The cast of "Mr. Idol" includes Jay Park, U-KISS, Kim Soo Ro, Park Ye Jin, and more.
Shooting for the idol themed movie began on February 28th and Hongik University in Seoul, Korea. The final day of filming was completed on June 9th, just a few days ago. The movie is set to be released in August of this year.
Park Ye Jin commented, "I am upset that the filming of this movie has ended so soon. This is the best I have felt about a cast in ten years. Jay Park also commented, "It was disappointing, but it feels good. I am grateful for the new friends I have made and that the cast was so nice to me."
Unfortunately, the cast was not able to complete the filming together on the last day, as Jay Park was actually at a different location.
