The world of screen and stage is exciting but the people behind the scenes – the managers - are the ones who ensure right from the start that the show is planned meticulously, opens on schedule and goes on without a hitch. This is the world that is unknown to the cheering audiences – a world that is less glamourous but no less exciting. This is the world that students will discover in the Program of Artistic and Creative Technology. This three-year programme exposes students to the theories and fundamentals of the management aspects of the artistic and creative industry such as financial management, stage management, theatre management, screen products management, strategic communication, music management, human resource management, collections management, gallery management, public relations, and the marketing and distribution of film products. For those whose minds and spirits are inclined towards planning and management, this programme will certainly benefit them. Though hidden from view, they, too, will share the success of every show and will also revel in the appreciative applause of the audience at every show’s finale.
